 At the Ann Arbor District Library the tone is multifaceted! The Library brand is knowledgeable, yet whimsical; helpful, but doesn’t take itself too seriously; and above all contributes to a curious, literate, and informed public.

The AADL Summer Game 2021

Every year, the Ann Arbor District Library hosts the Summer Game! What’s the Summer Game? At its core, it’s a summer reading program, but over the years it has morphed into an all-encompassing extravaganza of activities. The marketing challenge is capturing adult players … the Summer Game is NOT just for kids!! Players earn points (redeemable for real-life prizes) by using their library in dozens of ways. The Library’s zany personality comes out in full force in the Summer Game campaign which encompasses all social channels, organic and paid.
